New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched the self-reliant UP Rojgar Abhiyan through video conferencing. On this occasion, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that 1.25 crore migrant workers will get employment under this campaign. He said that there will be a loan transfer of small units.
The PM said that today, when Corona is in such a big crisis in the world, then the courage that UP showed, the wisdom it showed, the way it succeeded, the way it took the corona, the way it handled the situation, it is unprecedented, it is praiseworthy. For this I applaud, salute the 24 crore citizens of UP.
He said that what you have done is an example for the whole world. Uttar Pradesh figures have the amazing ability to surprise the world’s biggest experts.
He said that I am confident that under the leadership of Yogi Ji, as the disaster has been turned into an opportunity, the way he is engaged with life, other states of the country will also get to learn a lot from this scheme. Will also get inspiration from this. The PM said that the strength of labor has been felt by all of us.
This power of labor formed the basis of the poor welfare employment campaign launched by the Government of India. Today this same power inspired the self-reliant Uttar Pradesh Employment Campaign. In the program, PM Modi also spoke to the migrant workers returned to UP from other states. A youth returned to Mumbai thanked PM Modi. The young man thanked the Prime Minister for running the train in lockdown. He said that Modi should remain the Prime Minister.
Under this employment campaign, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Banda, Basti, Gonda, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Hardoi, Jalaun, Kaushambi, Kheri, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Ambedkar Nagar, Mirzapur, Deoria, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Santakbir Nagar, Shravasti, Sitapur, Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Unnao, and Varanasi districts will be added.
